Senior Citizen's Self Defense

As we age, our bodies become more fragile, we lose strength, and we slow down. That makes us more vulnerable and less able to defend ourselves. Most disturbing is the fact that there are criminals who prey on the elderly.

Because all seniors age at different rates, and are in various physical conditions, Extreme Combat teaches self defense tactics that work for anyone regardless of physical ability.

Our Senior's Self Defense course will show you how to defend yourself and your loved ones.

Don't be a Victim - Learn How to Fight Back!

We teach all students, including seniors, to avoid dangerous situations. Our training includes situational awareness, which includes being aware of your surroundings at all times. Avoiding dangerous situations by staying alert will help keep you out of harm's way.

Unfortunately, no matter how aware you are, it may not be possible to avoid all situations. There may come a time when you must fight to preserve life.

Your age,the condition of your health, and your physical abilities will determine the defensive strategies you take. I am a senior citizen but I stay in condition, workout everyday, and train constantly. I discipline myself and avoid health destroying habits, eat nutritious food, and maintain a positive mental attitude. I also practice Ki exercise and meditation. I believe my lifestyle has allowed me to maintain a level of defensive ability that is comparable to someone half my age. But not everyone is in that position or is as fortunate as I have been.

If you have physical limitations, or health issues, I will show you how you can still defend yourself. I have taught several 80 plus year old individuals to defend themselves. My master taught an 83 year old women to break boards at a demonstration. As a senior, you still have the innate ability to keep yourself safe and out of harm's way as well as defend yourself in a life threatening instance.

To compensate for old age, or infirmities that prevent you from employing H2H (hand to hand) techniques, I also teach nonlethal and lethal weapons. Old age should not disqualify from defending yourself and staying safe.

My dad is 86 years old and lives in an independent living complex. He is having the time of his life. Although he is not physically as strong as he once was, he is still able to defend himself.

My dad was an officer in the Navy and a firearm instructor. He taught everything from handguns and rifles to anti-aircraft, as well as the big guns on the battleships. He is still quite capable of defending himself with a handgun. My dad was also a semi-pro boxer, and started teaching me how to fight when I was 5 years old. In our basement he built a gun range, boxing center, and weight lifting area with homemade equipment.

When I was 7 years old I had my own .22 rifle and pistol. My dad taught me how to defend myself at an early age. Now that he is older, he has to rely on his wits and his ability to use a handgun. I feel sorry for anyone who tries to mess with him.

This Christmas I took out a couple of my slingshots, and the family shot them in my brother's backyard.  My dad at 86 years old was pretty amazing and held his own even against the grand kids. Believe me, with a little training, almost all senior citizens can learn to safely operate a handgun and employ it for self defense.

My advice to seniors is to not let age stop you from living a full and complete life. Stay active and learn to enjoy each and every minute. Take the time and effort to improve and protect your health, and stay in as good of condition as possible. Don't let old age rob you from enjoying life or the ability to defend yourself. Don't allow yourself to be a target for criminals. Don't be a victim. Attend one of my seminars and learn how to use Extreme Combat to protect your life and the lives of those you love.

I am an expert in Ki Exercise and Meditation. In my Ki classes, I also teach advanced nutritional programs aimed towards improving health. Attending a senior level Ki class is something that I recommend for all seniors.  The seniors I taught have felt better and have benefited from Ki Exercise and Meditation. Studies and testimonies validate that Ki Exercise and Meditation could also protect and improve your health. It is highly that you give it a try. Ki Exercise and Meditation.

Seniors Are Targeted

Seniors are often targeted by criminals because they are perceived to be an easy target. In the majority of cases they are.

Seniors may face health issues. They may suffer from Arthritis, heart disease, fragile bone structure, and limited mobility. They may have diminished eye sight, hearing, and balance. There are many detriments to self defense as we age.

What is a senior to do? How can they stop from being victims? How can they defend themselves?

The best way is to take Extreme Combat's Senior Self Defense Program.

This program teaches you how to be aware of danger and stay alert. Prevention is critical. However, you may not be able to prevent every criminal assault.

In the event you are caught in a situation where your life is in jeopardy, it is important to take self defense measures.

With limited mobility and strength, and health issues, you need a program that is customized and suited for your ability to implement. Extreme Combat is a method that most seniors can use to save their lives.

Sincerely,

Paul Barrett
